Our Heartland Trails app for iPhone and iPad

The Housing & Development Board (HDB) has developed ‘Our Heartland Trails’ mobile app, for residents to learn more about two HDB towns at their convenience!
Bedok and Punggol towns are chosen for the trails as they are part of the HDB’s Remaking Our Heartland (ROH) programme to revitalise and inject vibrancy into HDB estates.

The mobile app has two modes - self-guided learning trail and competitive race trail. Both modes will allow participants to learn about the history and interesting facts of the town and familiarize themselves to the surrounding of the towns. All hotspots content created can be triggered by GPS, Image Recognition and/or Blue-tooth Smart technologies upon the users’ arrival onsite.

[This application requires Location Services to run in both foreground and background to determine your approximate location using the Global Positioning System (GPS), network location sources such as mobile towers and Wi-Fi location information to trigger hotspot content upon arrival onsite.]
